~~~Please Drink Responsibly~~~
A Gentle Reminder
As the holiday season grows near, I would like to pass along this gentle reminder...
6 beers
2 glasses of wine
2 bottles of wine (shared)
too many margaritas
3 Kamikazes
7 Captain Morgans & coke
1 large purple haze
3 martinis
and my favorite ~~~ 1 bottle of tequila
PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
This was just to cute and I had to share with you all... I know just how they feel...
Now I don't know about anyone else but I have been buying up Christmas candies everytime I go out shopping like they are never going to be around again.... My candy dish was oozing over the sides and bulging at the seams... Well today when I woke up from my Chocolate stupor I said WHOA!!! I need to get this stuff out of the house... Mr Adventure said throw it out... What are you nuts... I just can't do that to perfectly good candy.... Luckily we had doctor appointments so I gathered up a gift bag.... Poured in the 50 pounds of assorted candies wrapped in holiday foils and took them to the girls in the office... I am not sure they were real happy about it but at least I am no longer in a lump on the couch eating candies and reading my book.... I am just a lump reading my book.... Have a funtastic day doing whatever you want.... Love to you all....
Until Later
I know, I have candy hidden in a drawer in the kitchen, just for me! No one knows it's there and I ain't telling! lol
That was so blasted cute...that last one looked like it could be Crumpet's long lost brother...but I don't recall him being such a heavy drinker!
Didn't you see me standing with my hand out? I will happily take excess candy off your hands. (*burp*)
Candy is dandy, liquor is quicker, they used to say. I try to balance the two, but after a few, it's hard to balance anything!
Merry Christmas!
Great reminder! For me you could replace the name of all the drinks with some kind of pie or cake or candy! All the food this time of year is so wonderful but so over the top!!
You know the girls at the doctor's office were probably groaning behind their smile...but started eating as soon as you walked away! I would. :)
Cute as a button!! Love those little animal pictures. Don't worry about the office girls; they may not want you to know it but they were delighted to take that candy off your hands. That keeps it off your - ah - as my doctor once said, "A moment on your lips and a lifetime on our hips." You did good!
Awwww, those fur babies are just precious for words!
I'm on a cookie binge... Guess I could be on a candy binge too if I bought my favorites but I've stayed away from the candy. ☺
CUte public announcement! LOve the animals...Pretty creative and funny.
I can relate to your sweet stupor. Although I haven't been buying a lot of candy, the girls and I have been making cookies and munching away. I think I have probably gained a few cookie pounds! lol I still need to make more cookies closer to Christmas. Oh but heck! We are having fun and the girls love helping bake.
hugs, Ellen
