~~~Off to the Festivities~~~
TWO only TWO days left till Thanksgiving... HA HA HA HA HA
I am heading 30 miles north today to stay with my daughter (Denise) till Thanksgiving... I am watching those beautiful little grandsons of mine tonight... Dominick & Wyatt... while she is at the hospital doing her clinicals for her nursing program... She has passed her nurses course and will graduate on December 18th... YEAH!!! My other daughter Jennifer will graduate from nursing school next April another YEAH!! I am so proud of them both... It has been a big accomplishment for them working full time, raising their children and going to college full time too.... Of course the husbands helped supported them a lot in their goals...
Tomorrow we will finish up shopping getting all the veggies and things that we wanted to be fresh... and then it is our Girls Big Sleepover (wine & cheese party). We will also be cooking up as much as we can for Turkey day since we are doing The Turkey Trot... I am now wondering what was I thinking agreeing to getting up early Thanksgiving morning not to put the Turkey in but to go walk a 5 mile walk... I must of been drinking to agree to that one... I guess I'll just fine me a great place to be behind some hunky runners... and watch the back action... The guys will all arrive Thursday around noon... we should be back by then if I haven't fallen over dead... and then the festivities will begin... I will try to get on to blog but not sure how or when that will happen... if my words are funny you know it was to much VINO!!!
~~Have a great day~~
Until Later
Have a relaxing drive to your daughter's house, cause you will need all your strength for babysitting and walking that Turkey Trot. lol. Sounds like fun though especially the girls sleepover.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Congratulations - two daughters who will be nurses, that's wonderful - and such a great career for a women these days. I could always work part-time and pretty much choose my hours when my children were growing up. I always loved nursing.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Congratulations to the daughters...
I know, for certain, how proud and happy you are for them. My little darling daughter did the same...during the time she was expecting her first baby, she was in the middle of nursing school. She had to step aside during the birth and a few months afterwards but is now a registered nurse, 4 children, works for her hubby at home, works 2 days a week at the Heart Hospital and runs a hugh house. Just blows my mind how my little girl has become such a SUPERWOMAN. I am in awe !!!
love, bj
oh...and have such fun with your family...
Happy Thanksgiving...
