OK... so I haven't any site seeing photos for anyone today... It is still raining today and not only did it rain yesterday but it was a deluge... The streets of Fort Smith were flooded... BUT did that keep me inside.. Oh no... My daughter and I went to lunch and shopping all day long... My jeans were soaked almost up to my knees which I hardly noticed. I was just so happy to be going from store to store looking at everything.. OK so I bought a few things but nothing notable... We went to this really nice Health Food Store called Squash Bottoms and I bought a lot of organic seeds, nuts, dried fruits and some soaps.. I love that place and could spend hours there... They even have a whole room dedicated to spices & herbs the are dried or fresh... Since I love cooking with them it is like a paradise for me... Regardless of the rain we had the most excellent day together which I don't get to often since she moved to Arkansas... We were feeling a tiny bit guilty about having such a great day so we called the DH's and had them meet us for dinner with the kids...
Creekmore Park in Forth Smith on October 11th is having a
Paint the Park Pink affair... They decorate the park with pink ribbons and everyone wears pink.. There is a breakfast and a walk to raise money for the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Cancer Fund... How cool is that... I will be attending and will put on pictures of the event...
Isn't this beautiful.. Someone sent it to me and I give it to you...
all my friends in the bloggin world
