Our little girl Tiffy was really getting ragged and needed a haircut & bath badly. She hates to go to the groomer and shakes the whole time she is there. When traveling it is so hard to find a groomer that will do a good job on your dog and be kind to them. You try to find a groomer near where you are at, visit their shops and check them out... and sometimes we will go to a Petco or Petsmart.
The groomer we took her to is the one my daughter takes her dogs to. So we felt pretty confident that she would be good with our little Tiffy. When we got there she was so kind to her which made us very happy... She is such a nice woman and works with the forestry department taking in fawns whose mothers have either been killed or have deserted them... She had the cutest little deer just walking around the shop and he was just as friendly as could be. I asked her what happens when he is full grown and she explained to us that he will be put up on to some mans property who protects them... They are free to roam on the many acres he has and even come up to the house and visits with him, It was such a nice story.
See where his little antlers are coming in?
They are just little nubs and are really funny feeling
Tiffy is so cute now and feeling so much better. But she was really thirsty when she got home... hmmmmm!
Now if only I could find someone to do my hair and nails all would be good.
Until Later

What a cute little dog! Looks like she got a good haircut so that should keep her happy for a while. I agree about trying to find a good groomer while traveling, it's difficult sometimes. Our little Rylie is just 4 months old and hasn't yet had the experience of getting groomed - we'll have to see how she responds.
She does look so cute now that she's "done."
She is really adorable -- both before and after the trim. I had the same problem finding a good groomer, and finally decided just to do it myself. Hmmmm.... Probably why you never see any pictures of her on my blog -- she's too embarrassed to come out!
Hi Donna, I am glad you enjoyed reading my story today..I was also in the 1st and 2nd grade with my best friends..
Tiffy looks so pretty with her new cut and blow dry!! I bet she feels good too!!
Today is my granddaughter's birthday party..she will be 9 years old tomorrow..but since it falls on a school night, we are celebrating today.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Hugs, Baba
Just wanted to wish you a happy Sunday and tell you your little pup is adorable!
She is so cute and I know must be much easier to travel with than a cat would be.
I have the same problem with finding hair and nail solutions for myself. In fact, I'll be going back to Memphis in September to visit my hairdresser there.

Tiffy looks great. Finding groomers has been a nightmare for us sometimes back in the day before laptops came with us. Our Annie had a couple of bad experiences with some independent groomers. We now use Petco and Petsmart (not that they are perfect either). I think Tiffy knows she's cute!
Tiffy looks so glamorous! That's what I always tell our Katie when she goes to the groomer. :)
You know, any person with a deer walking around in the building has to be a sweety!
ohhh she looks sooo pretty! What a neat thing that lady does.
She looks so fluffy! I'm glad I do my own little Winnie's hair because she freaks out too.
your little diva there does not appear to rule the roost...or be spoiled AT ALL!!!! lol
My Miss Pooh...I am the groomer for her...and she shakes like a lunatic...but boy is she happy afterward!
Aw, Tiffy looks sooooooooooooo pretty now! Was she still totally nervous even though the groomer was so great with her?
I would have FREAKED having a little deer walking around a dog salon. I would have been in 7th heaven! How very cool!
Justine :o )
I just found you.....what a cute dog and I enjoyed looking around your blog!
Ahh, Tiffy looks so pretty. Glad you found someone nice.
What a cute little fawn and a neat story.
I have, Caesar, a 5 year old male Bichon Frise. I have been taking him to the same groomer for 3 years. They have a number of employees, so I never know what he will look like when I pick him up. Sometimes he looks like a poodle or sometime like a little lamb. I guess it's like a person with a bad hair cut. It will grow out.
Awww, she looks spiffy! Sophie needs a new do too! She's sporting a Mommy hacked my hair off look right now. lol
What a cutie patootie! My poor Duchess has experienced some really bad haircuts in her day...some sooo bad, that she refused to come out from under our bed!
so? where are we going next???? Alberta maybe??? hint hint! lol
I love traveling with you!
Donna, This is my first visit to your blog. I have intended to come sooner, but I just never made it.
My ex and I had a motorhome and we didn't live in it, but we traveled at lot and we had friends that did live in their motorhome.
I will be coming back often, trying to read some of your older post to try and catch up with you.
Please come and visit me.
