Ok the first of the year has passed and I am starting my plans for our 2011 BIG Adventure... We are going to be traveling north on the east coast from our winter park in Florida all the way to New Brunswick & Nova Scotia... with many stops along the way up including a couple of weeks in Washington DC! Then return back to Florida via Upstate New York, Pennsylviania, West Virginia and North Carolina ...

The Blue stops are our way up and the Green is our return route... I would love any suggestions of great places to visit, things to do or good restaurants to eat at... Also if any of you are traveling on that route or live near it I would love to meet you!

Oh boy.....what a fun itinerary!! And I'm sure you'll get some great adventures off road too, just seeing all the glorious area of the USA...the NE is one of my favorites in our country!!
Howdy...just trying to catch up on a few of my bloggin' buddies before heading back out for the day with more jury duty.
A full year plan is just a lost dream for us. Lucky to have a loose plan for a few months. We want to get to the Canadian Maritimes, so will be very interested in your journey.
End of April to mid May we will be in the Gettysburg to Virginia Beach areas. We would love to meet y'all.
Stay Safe
Sounds like the best of fun!
i need to send you and FB email because if you are in our area we would love to meet you !
How exciting to be making plans for another trip. I would love to see some of the places you've been.
If you come to Vegas...let me know.
Can't believe how well you have that trip planned! Do you already have campground reservations for each? The planned and getting reservations are always my job and I hate it. Much rather just wonder around and find a place to stay as you go but that is not a good idea! We spent three weeks in SE Georgia this past Sept and loved it. Savannah, St. Simons and Jekyll Island. My favorite was St Simons Island. Hope you enjoy.

I may be a bit insane with jealousy .. this looks like a dream trip! If I lived in that part of the US, for sure I would be one of your stops! My son in Atlanta got dumped on with snow yesterday ... will be interesting to see how everyone is coping. Now, mind you he grew up in Minneapolis .. but has been away for twelve years and is also fifty years old ... poor baby!!! Thanks for cheering the good old Ducks on to victory!
Hi Donna,
I see you're planning on visiting DC; I grew up there. It's hot (than Florida!) in the summer!
Have a fun week.
We can not just dream, we need time to live their dreams.
Good luck
Donna, that sounds like SO much fun!
Where is your winter camp in Florida? Are you on the coast or inland? We are in Florida, too.
