Today we got up early and in the cold (35') headed for the RV Super Show that is held at the Florida State Fairgrounds every year... We usually bring the RV and stay on site but this year we decided to just come over for the day... After paying the $5 dollar parking fee we parked a long ways from the entrance & we began with a good walk... The first place we entered was the RV showcase hall where they feature a lot of the high end RV's and other recreational vehicles.
There were hundreds of vendors showcasing everything from RV supplies, Cooking demo's, Jewelry, RV Parks & events from many of the popular tourist states, Satellite dishes and even food items.
Everywhere we turned there was some kind of entertainment... a fun day!
After about 5 hours walking around and checking everything out we decided it was time to go have a bite to eat... So a hike back to the car and we headed to Plant City just up the road to Buddy Freddy's... A great buffet specializing in southern cooking. If you have never been there then you need to go. It is really good!
Have Fun, Travel Safe & Stay Healthy!!!

ReplyDeleteWow! Those are some fancy looking RV's! Buffet looked pretty good too!
ReplyDeleteWow, those first pictures were really something! How could you resist the urge?
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with the other commenters - that RV was very fancy looking! :) This show looks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to go, isn't it? So glad that you're enjoying your winter, and not freezing your butts off like we are in Indiana!
ReplyDeleteWe spent one happy winter in FL in our rv, and enjoyed it immensely. We made NUMEROUS trips to Plant City for their strawberry shortcake. Yummy.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I had actually found yours yesterday! Glad you enjoyed the rv show. We enjoyed our day there, despite the parking issues.
ReplyDeleteHate that we missed the chance to meet each other. Love it if you can come to the lunch on the 31st in Lakeland. Email me if you can...
ReplyDeleteYou got much better photos of the entertainment...I was surprised and pleased at that little addition. Made the atmosphere really nice, I thought.
Nice show, great looking bus, glad I do nt have to make the payments :)
ReplyDeleteI would NEVER want to leave this show! My little camper is a joke compared to this--lol. BUT..its a start. I hope your doing well, you sure sound like it. I'm planning our first long road trip now for May. We would like to camp right on the ocean,,if you got tips-send them my way. I'm thinking--South Carolina, Florida--something like that.
ReplyDeleteWow...would you look at those 'high end' RVs?!!!! Why I can see why so many would consider them "home" and travel all year long. What charming vehicles!! Like I said, WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the fun entertainment...that would be a real treat...Oh and speaking of treats...sure, y'all go out to eat BEFORE inviting us along? Bummed, I am. That all looks luscious.
Thanks for visiting with me yesterday. I appreciate your comment.
