Saturday started out a wonderful weekend... The park is pretty full with the weekend warriors, who piled in here on Friday, and they are all out on the lake in their boats having a GREAT time. My cousin Mary, her daughter Christal, and I all met up at Cracker Barrel for breakfast where I ordered my favorite breakfast there "Six grain granola pancakes". If you like pancakes you should really go get them...they are delish! Then we went shopping most of the day picking decorations up for Timothy's (Mary's grandson) graduation party next Saturday. He is really a great kid and I know he is excited about graduation.
my breakfast...YUM Sunday morning began the exodus of weekend warriors all leaving the park... I remember those days all to well and glad we don't have to rush off and go back to work on Monday morning. In the afternoon we went to Mary's house for a wonderful BBQ of Hamburgers... she made cole slaw, corn on the cob and the burgers and I made my World Famous Potato Salad (ok maybe only famous with my family) and a Pineapple Bundt cake. It was a great day of good food and family fun! my yummy Pineapple Cake

ReplyDeleteSince we don't go to Cracker Barrel anymore -- no problem with them, we just stopped enjoying the experience -- we had blueberry pancakes at home. And I (Jerry) made them myself - from a mix. Ain't I the smart one!
