Thank you very much Susan

We just hung around the campsite today and took walks in the park... As I sit out here in the morning having my coffee I am thankful that we are able to enjoy and appreciate the beauty this country has to offer. Just watching the mist on the water and reflecting on our journeys so far. The best part is knowing everyday is like a gift.

Here are a few of the little friends that came by to visit us

Early in the morning we found so many different mushrooms on our walk. I really don't know to much about mushrooms but I found the red ones to be really different and beautiful... Do you know what they are? At first I thought someone had put Roma tomatoes on a stick... LOL LOL but they were indeed mushrooms.

In the afternoon Alyssah & I went to the beach area of the park. It was pretty nice and as you can see there was no one else there. We saw turtles, fish, and had a great time playing in the water. Her & I even did skipping stones over the water... I haven't done that in years. It was a sun shiny warm day and the water was really refreshing.

Look at all the little fish that were in the water with us...

The boys would like them for bait

This was a really great day just relaxing and spending time together

Until Later

  2. That water is so clear to be able to focus with a camera and get the minnows showing up so well! And the bluejay...oh how lovely a bird they are. We don't have them this far south, and boy do I miss 'em.

Happy day to you dear friend.

  17. You have the most beautiful outdoor adventures my friend. Love the pretty red mushrooms! How unusual and vibrant they look. Neat! I wonder if they are poisonous? Hmmm...

Thank you for the info on the crepe myrtle! I like the idea of trimming out the bottom and making it more like a tree. I would not of known to do that. Cool! :)
